Where we came from
We started in September 2009 as Lexio Solution, doing customised development for businesses that could not find an off-the-shelf product that fitted. The name changed to Qubic Technologies; the way we work did not.
Over that time the technology stack has been rewritten several times, the clients have changed, and the work has moved from brochure websites toward the systems that businesses actually run on: billing, bookings, stock, portals, and now the automation layer sitting on top of all of it.
How we work
Small studios have one genuine advantage over larger agencies, and it is not price. It is that nothing gets lost in a handover. There is no account manager relaying a requirement to a developer who was not in the meeting. If you explain a constraint, the person who has to honour it heard you say it.
The trade-off is that we take on fewer projects at once. We would rather say we are booked until next month than take work we cannot do properly.
What we are careful about
Three things, consistently. Your domain and hosting go in your name rather than ours. A client who cannot leave is not a client, they are a hostage. Source code and data transfer to you on settlement. And when the honest answer is that you should buy a product rather than commission one, we say so, even when it costs us the job.
We are equally direct about AI. It genuinely saves money on high-volume repetitive work with checkable output, and it genuinely wastes money elsewhere. We will tell you which side your problem sits on before you spend anything.
Where we are
Our office is in Bandar Puteri, Puchong, and most of our clients are in the Klang Valley, though a fair number are elsewhere in Malaysia and a few are overseas. Day-to-day work happens over calls, email and shared previews. For larger projects we prefer to meet in person at the start.
The formalities
Qubic Technologies is registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia, registration number 002334365-H (SSM 201403144879). Invoices, agreements and quotations are issued in that name.
