What this covers
This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website and in the course of providing our services, and what we do with it. It is written with reference to Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
What we collect
When you contact us: your name, company, email address, telephone number and whatever you choose to write in your message.
Automatically: standard web server information such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited. If analytics is enabled on this site, aggregate usage statistics are collected through that service.
When you become a client: billing details, project materials and correspondence necessary to carry out the work.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, deliver and support the services you engage us for, issue invoices, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who else may see it
Service providers we rely on to operate, including hosting providers, email delivery and payment processing, may process data on our behalf under their own obligations. Where a project requires a third-party service, this is identified during the project.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to twenty-four months. Project and financial records are kept for the period required by Malaysian tax and company law, currently seven years.
Security
Access to personal data is limited to people who need it for the work. Sites and systems we operate use encrypted connections, and administrative access requires individual accounts.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, withdraw consent for marketing communications, or ask us to delete data we are not required to retain. Write to enquiry@qubic.my and we will respond within twenty-one days.
Cookies
This site uses a session cookie required for forms and administrator sign-in. If analytics is enabled, that service sets its own cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, though form submission may then not work.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update this page and the date below.
