Design & Service Policy

How Qubic Technologies scopes, delivers and revises design and development work.

Scope

Every engagement begins with a written quotation that lists what is included: pages or modules, number of design concepts, revision rounds, and any third-party services required. Anything not listed in the quotation is outside scope and will be quoted separately before work begins.

Design revisions

Unless the quotation states otherwise, design work includes one initial concept and two rounds of revision. A revision round means a consolidated set of changes provided together. Additional rounds are chargeable at the rate stated in the quotation.

Materials you provide

We rely on you for content, images, logos and access credentials. Where you supply material for use on the site, you confirm that you have the right to use it. Delays in providing materials extend the delivery schedule by the corresponding period.

Delivery and acceptance

Work is delivered to a staging or preview environment for your review. Please review within fourteen days. If we receive no response within that period, the work is treated as accepted and the project moves to the next stage.

Changes after acceptance

After a stage is accepted, further changes to that stage are treated as new work and quoted separately. This is not a technicality. It is how a project stays on schedule for both sides.

Ownership

On full settlement of all sums due, ownership of the final delivered work transfers to you, together with source files where applicable. Our own reusable tools, libraries and frameworks remain ours, and you receive a perpetual licence to use them as part of the delivered work.

Third-party components

Some projects incorporate third-party software, fonts, templates or services under their own licences. Where such items carry a recurring fee, this is stated in the quotation and is your ongoing responsibility after handover.

Support after launch

Unless a maintenance agreement is in place, post-launch support is limited to correcting defects in the delivered work reported within thirty days of launch. Hosting issues, content changes and new features are chargeable.

Cancellation

Either party may end an engagement in writing. Work completed up to that point is chargeable, and materials produced are handed over once outstanding sums are settled.

This policy is a general statement of how we work. The signed quotation or agreement for your project takes precedence wherever the two differ.
